White on black type

Just noting that while it is good looking overall - the presentation style of white typeface on black background in the articles is not the easiest on the eyes. I am looking at the site in a high reflection environment and the type is obscured by the reflection on the screen - I notice this seems to be an increasingly popular combination - I am seeing it on magazine articles as well, where the surrounding coloured background bleeds into the typeface reducing the contrast -  but I suspect the choice is more about overall graphic design of the pages rather than ease of reading. Just one opinion...

Thanks for the suggestion, I understand what you mean. I just got on-boarded so I'll take a look into that. I am still working on getting more comfortable with the backend of our site. We appreciate your patience, so we can make those adjustments and optimize the site for the community.

I hate that. Also the Apple look: light grey type on white.
