Hi,
I have a Hasselblad H2 body with the Auxilliary Shutter Drive Unit not operating. It is permanently open.
I removed the back cover plate and can see that straps operating the shutter itself are not broken and I can wind the shutter by turning small black wheel at the bottom of the picture.
Would anyone be able to tell me how the shutter operates please?
By that I mean that I can see a silver motor that presumably does it. If so does that drive in both directions or in one direct and a spring returns it?
What controls the start and stop?
I have seen a (bad) video on how to remove the cover but it would be best to know what to look for before I do that.
I could of course send it to Hasselblad but I think the parts alone would be worth more than the camera. They no longer seem to have repair prices on the website, but it is probably over 300 Euro plus labour.
Any assistance would be appreciated. bob
