Facebook advertising
« on: July 05, 2022, 04:58:27 pm »

Everytime dip my toes in, always discover again, they have no support. No one there can talk about anything. To be fair I did receive a call from girl, but she did not  know anything.

You would think the top money maker in advertising would have a crack crew to give tips on ads.?.

Anyone have better luck/ tips with FB?

I set up a business page on FB, https://www.facebook.com/Novels-by-Sandlin-101921859042739, to promote my novels. FB is constantly bugging me to post on my business page and "boost" the post. I did so once. FB claimed that some 7K people saw my "boosted" post but I realized no sales from their ad. I did receive several complaints about the FB ad showing up on peoples' timeline. I think FB is not the best advertising site for books, so I kept the business page but stopped the "boost".

My experiencei is similar. I have occasionally paid FB a modest amout to promote my photography page and indeed the hits to that page shoot up for a few days, but no sales. So I have stopped doing this.

Thanks guys this is photography workshop. I've done boost of my own post. What I'm asking here is creating an Ad.... If others have done that. Boost is brain dead easy.  Weather works or not... I think Boost is overpriced.. so that is hard to work, they don't give you enough eyeballs. If they have you 20 million impressions with your boost for $50 we'd be happy, but they are very stingy.

But ads, I'm curious if others have tried, which are way more complex to deal with.
