It's a Hasselblad 203FE. Your picture is so blurry that it's almost impossible to tell. It's only distinguishable, in your fuzzy picture, from the rather odd 202FA model by the mode selector dial markings and the visible tab of the manual setting ring, around the lens mount, used to set focal plane shutter speed which make it a 203FE.

Just curious... Why are you asking?

Below is a link to a listing of the Hasselblad V models from the Hasselblad Historical website. If you need one, Hasselblad has manuals available to download for various camera models going back several decades.

Thanks. The 202FA and 203FE look nearly identical except for the two items that I mentioned. So, you were definitely in the right neighborhood.

The 202FA was really an odd camera for Hasselblad. The oddest thing is that it's a focal plane shutter only body. The only leaf shutter lenses it will accept are lenses that have an "F" setting to disengage the leaf shutter. It's really designed primarily for use with the FE lenses and in auto exposure mode. The limited lens compatibility and awkward manual control just make it weird for a Hasselblad V system camera.

Tech Talk,

I apologize for my delayed response. I have a phase one IQ3 50 and love it. I still love the work that the masters did and do with film. I have used the H2 with the film back and enjoyed the experience. I have a photographer who I admire his images and he uses  the 203fe with a 80 2.8 and 110 2.0. Thinking about investing in to H2 or  500 c/m.

Thank you for your reply. It's always appreciated when someone acknowledges your effort to respond to their question.

If you have any additional questions regarding either the H or V Hasselblad systems, there are many members with experience and knowledge of those systems. They both provide excellent and extensive tools for making images. Whichever you most enjoy using is always the right choice.

Best regards to you.

Tazdog, ensure you secure the F 2 110 FE! I used it on a 205FCC body - the spot metering was a real boon. But the lens wove magic. Fast, fabulous bokeh, celestial image quality, and it was milled and assembled to such a fine degree it literally it sang if you ran your finger-nail along it!
