A Guide to the Internal Color Calibration of Canon Printers

Good morning!

With some time on my hands, I wanted to get a better understanding of the internal color calibration of Canon's professional photo printers, such as the PRO-1000. See also my recent question on the topic.

Unfortunately Canon's documentation lacks in this area, especially when it comes to explaining concepts and workflows behind this feature. So I decided to collect all the information I got, from documentation, online forums and my own experience, and put it into a blog post:

My new Canon is soon to be delivered, and I am trying to get an initial overview of the different Canon software that comes with it.

Your guide was really iseful in understanding the why, how and time for the calibration process.
