I have been fortunate to have a small cluster of Lilly Of The Valley plants growing near the north-facing foundation of my house. They’ve been there for over 30 years, without any effort on my part. They bloom reliably around Mother's day, but the flowers are ephemeral: one day they’re beautiful, and the next they’re wilted, brown and dead. Luckily, I caught these just before they died, and preserved their beauty in this photograph.
I appreciate your thoughts and comments, and thank you for stopping by.
