Disable Epson Status Monitor Greyed Out

Under "Speed & Progress" the Disable Epson Status Monitor 3 is unticked and greyed out so I can't disable it. This is annoying as I need to get rid of the pop-ups warning me about non-genuine ink as I need to click on them to print and this means I need to be at my keyboard.

Any ideas please?
