Matching images in ACR to match images in PS
« on: May 07, 2022, 11:37:42 am »

Hi All.
Hope I'm in the right category.
Having trouble syncing images between ACR and PS.
PS version of images seems to always be lighter, tho I'm not sure the difference is always the same.
And it seems the colors in ACR are more saturated, but maybe that's due to being darker.
Monitor is calibrated with spyder x pro and I'm using the latest versions of PS and Mac OS.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Reset your Photoshop preferences and try again. There are some reporting a bug this fixes that affects the round trip whereby the profile is stripped.
Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences upon a quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.
