Where Can I find A Copy OF HP APS? - SOLVED!

I need to replace the hard drive in my printing PC and will lose my installed copy of APS (V 1.41) which I still use from time to time to profile papers for my z3200ps. I dug out the original CD to check I still had it for reinstall and dsicovered that there is no software on the disk, just a link to a now defunct web page run by X Rite. I contacted them but they were no help and passed the buck to HP. I haven't contacted them yet but I'm not optimistic, does anyone know if the software is still available anywhere?

Found it! Or rather I should say that my excellent suppliers (http://www.cadservices.co.uk/) found it. It is still there on the xrite site; although I haven't managed to navigate to it through the site I was able to download it from this link they sent me:

I believe this link might lead to the Mac versions but it didn't work for me, I got a "502 Bad Gateway" message.

and the mac version works only with Macosx 10.6
that system came around about 10 years ago...

That's right, on launch it asks for the dongle/eye-one-display2. I can't comment on Mac OS compatibility but until recently I had it working on up to date Win10. For a few months though I have had a problem with all software for my Z, drivers, HP Utility and APS. Something is limiting communication between PC and printer: with drivers (V4, PCL & PS) the printer works ok but the driver can't report info from the printer such as "paper loaded type"; HP Utility correctly reports ink status and allows new media type creation, calibration & basic profiling but can't synchronize media types/profiles with PC; APS launches so long as the dongle is in place but reports printer and eye-one "off line" once launched. I tried installing APS on a PC with older version of Win10 with the same result. My guess is it is a Windows security feature is restricting communication but I am not expert enough to diagnose it, either that or (with my conspiracy theorist's hat on) HP are sabotaging it to make the old Z unusable.

I have the eye one for the APS here if anyone really needs one. Likely runs on Windows.
