Wow! I have to go to Portugal soon...!
My girlfriend comes from Coimbra so come more often, the language is difficult; Spanish is more easy to get into...

I do believe that Nazaré (famous for those huge waves) is north of Lisbon so it must be around 400km between the two locations.
I might be completely wrong
and Paulo could provide his local expert information.

The Big Waves are indeed in Nazaré, about 100km north of Lisbon. This Costa Vicentina is around 200km south of Lisbon.
