I can't speak from direct experience with the Pro-200 but I had a Canon Pro-9000 and a variety of A4 dye ink-jet printers over the years. All struggled with B&W producing slight colour casts green/magenta which, despite my best efforts, proved almost impossible to get rid of.
It was only when I bought a Pro-1, a pigment printer with dedicated grey inks, that finally I was able to get good quality B&W prints. Moreover, I can now tint them successfully and the results are very satisfying.
My tentative conclusion from this would be that if you want to get some satisfying B&W prints without struggling with colour casts then the Pro-300, which is a pigment printer, will more likely give you the results you want.
