Epson Support in Windows 11
« on: January 22, 2022, 03:05:27 am »

Hey all,

I've spent the last 3 hours trying to figure this out, and I have no solid confirmation. Please help!!!

Does anyone know if these run on windows 11? Any experience? I'm in the process of upgrading but the PC comes with Win11 and I want to make sure I can still run all my equipment.

-p7570 printer x2
-p5000 printer
-11000XL scanner

Please and thank you, friends!

And have a wonderful weekend!!!

Yes, this is why I'm asking here.

It says "check here to see if your device is compatible" and gives a driver dated from 2019. Windows 11 came out October 2021. It's very vague.

Anyone have any firsthand experience with it?

If you've used an Epson driver finder and asked for a Windows 11 compatible driver and this is what's showing, it's probably correct.

I don't use 11, but did read up a fair bit when it was announced. The core 64bit driver architecture hasn't changed from what I've read with W11 and the expectation is that existing W10 drivers should continue to work. So a W10 driver that predates the W11 release date should be OK.
If compatible drivers prove a problem with W11 the other alternative is to install W10. Cheap and easy to pick up still.
