Either way, I think he just didn't want to get his new rain cap wet.

i cant for the life of me remember what he may have been doing at the time. it must have been a clammy atmoshpere to work in

I have a preference for the cropped version, geometry works better - at least for me!

the portions  which were cropped out were rather distracting  yes.  The core of the "idea"..is all that was needed.
