A Photograph In Progress
« on: December 14, 2021, 07:18:15 pm »

I ran across this while editing my lightroom catalog.

even while quickly realizing it was not a finished piece of work it  seemed like a good place to start a thread of tedious editing...

It has good potential.

I want to remove the rest...of the extraneous  distractions.

Thanks.

Do please show us the finished version.

This is a screenshot..of the progress thus far.  I need to spend some time on the distracting bush on the right side ofd the image  to balance things out.

I had the montage well under way when I noticed the reflections on the vehicle

That's better, Michael. Why would you want to crop it? You framed it correctly in the beginning. The cropping you did for this probably was necessary, but this is far superior to the first version.

The car and drive are on one layer.. their shadows  on another. ready to appear in several locations.

I was thinking of dropping the  layer of clouds over the hill...to the point where the darker section of same  gave emphasis to the white hat.  there are a number of choices yet to be made  and worked out.

Next, you could remove the tires to make it look as if the car is flying.   ;)
