Very clever. It makes one wonder what these gloves were for. To me it's the effect of the shadows that really elevates this kind of scene from ordinary to evocative.

John, these are latex gloves that my wife wears when washing pots or pans by hand.
After washing the gloves, she hangs them on the refrigerator door handle to dry (and to pick up mystical vibrations from the Universe.)

I can see this image hanging in someone's smartly decorated modern apartment.  It has some edge to it.  I like it a lot.
