M Dab...exif data?

WHile reading the full "litany of exif data contained in an image file...I was mildly shocked to find data with which I am utterly unfamiliar

This is what caught my eye...."M Dab"....seemingly.hundreds of iterations..of "M Dab".

Anyone familair with this spec?
