This thing is too big to ship but otherwise free...located just south of San Francisco in Montara.
My Epson 3880 was used only for Piezography--I had a 3800 that I was using for color--but about three years ago I got out of Peizography and the printer has sat unused. There are no ink carts in the machine. Finally, the front paper support tray is gone.
So, it is for parts.
There are, however, reasons for hope:
1). It received only light use.
2) I *believe* that before I shut the printer down I filled it with PiezoFlush in order to preserve the print head.
3) It has been stored in a cool, moist-air environment--Half Moon Bay and Montara, California--it is foggy here an awful lot.
It is too expensive to test (the ink carts will be pricy and then it might not work) so maybe someone will get lucky?
I ordered a P900 so this thing needs to get out of my office.
