This is the first one of the year and he flew right over my house while I was shooting a Red-Bellied Woodpecker. Another great dumb luck moment.

sweet.. great bird/nice capture.. I have seen them come out of nowhere also. adult bald eagles are always difficult with the range of dark to light.
