Lovely! We're into "stick season" now where I live. No persistent snow yet but everything is brown and bare.

Are they doing efforts to plant trees in Iceland? I was told there were trees, but they used them all.

Pieter - there is a small amount of forestry going on. I like the mountains bare, though. That way one can truly appreciate their features and shapes.

I love those fall colors. I've always seen Iceland as black and green and this is a welcome change.
