Getting the above error when switching the printer on. Occurred just as Epson support was closing :/
When I switched the printer off earlier, it reeled the media up beyond where it usually stops and was not visible through the cover window. During the last print job before I switched the printer off, I paused the print to extend the print catch cloth, then restarted the print. Everything seemed fine.
Turned the printer on a little while later to reprint and got the error code 001128 after a clonking noise.
Have checked the cutter and no blockage or anything there - all seems fine.
Any ideas what the problem is or has anyone else experienced this?
This printer finally started to print beautifully after swapping out the starter inks for full carts and now this. Disappointed doesn't quite describe how I feel now
