Sony RX100m5 with Bracket Pro ?

I've just upgraded to a RX100m5 and see there's an option to buy an add-in app called Bracket Pro. Auto bracketing is something I use a lot on my DSLR, so having it on the little RX would be great.

Anyone here managed to buy it ? Is it worth having ?

At £3.99 it seemed cheap enough to try it out, but actually buying it is a total nightmare on Sony's e-commerce horror show web site.
Not sure if I can be bothered to start with all the mails to support for such a small purchase unless it's really worthwhile now.

The M5 has built in bracketing. Check the online user guide at Sony.com. Also, the Cybershot  forum at DPReview has MANY users of your m5.
 I just returned from a 3 week trip to Zion, Bryce, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Valley of Fire NV. All with a new RX100 M7. Great camera.

Thanks for that. I didn't expect it to be hidden down in 'drive modes'.

I know there's a lot in that manual, but even at 304 pages it's pretty poorly written and sparse in explanations of some features.
I'm starting to see why Sony menus get so much criticism from reviewers when so much is buried and cryptic.

The M7 manual is a mere 634 pages . Guess Ill be busy this coming Winter.

The difficulty is sorting what's important from what's trivial and obvious or buried in unexpected sections (as above).

It's great that little cameras like these have such amazing feature sets, but disappointing that the manufacturers can't put the same effort into good documentation as they put in their product's specification or UI. (see X-Rite for the perfect example of this)

The Sony manuals are indeed pretty dense and hard to navigate. I've found the e-books put out by Gary Friedman at The Friedman Archives to be much more helpful. And there are useful, free guides to the RX100 series at the Wim Arys Photography site; for example, on the RX100 M5 here:  https://www.wimarys.com/sony-rx100-v-guide-settings-tips-tricks/

Thanks for that, interesting. I'll have a look at the sample pages, but it seems a little expensive.
The problem is that anyone that's reasonably experienced, as I count myself, doesn't need everything explained, we just need the hidden nuggets highlighted.

I've used the Sony Help guides since the early Nex days and while not interesting reading in general I've pretty much always been able to find what I needed by a simple search.  For example in the RX100 V5 help guide by searching for "bracket" about a dozen or so lines come up, the 1st for Continuous Bracket.  Admittedly you have to have an idea that the camera has a way of doing something (else why search?), and what it is called as the search function is not as forgiving as Google for slight name differences.
