my jogging path

a photo of one of a nice parts of the 'Amsterdamse Bos'.
A forest made by man in the 1930's near Amsterdam as a labour project.
( for a real old authentic forest most nearby you have to go to Poland)

the puddle at the bottom threw me off at first, but it's a fantastic image.  i love the trail curving around into the woods.  great light and contrast, it looks like a wonderful place to exercise.

Agree with above, though I find the greenery bottom center distracting.

In another fifty years it will be an old forest and authentic, since its got trees  ;D.

The quality of the light and the high contrast are wonderful. I was also thrown off by the puddle… Not sure whether it adds something to the image or not, though.

+1

I don’t mind the reflection in the puddle.

thanks! everybody.

I crossed this time on a bycicle and had my camera with me, so just had to stop. The beautiful light was the main reason.
My 85mm was the only lens with me so had to take a handheld panorama that came out good.
