Be careful with those vintage cameras, https://www.ibtimes.com/bomb-scare-forced-nyc-flights-emergency-landing-was-just-ridiculous-error-3313665.

Question: why wasn't Karen arrested?

This was a much more dangerous situation:

Quite a few years ago, when I was still shooting 120 film, one dumb but very conscientious security guard at San Francisco airport forced me to rip open the sealed protective aluminum foils on the expensive unused Fuji Velvia film rolls. Obviously, the well meaning idiot had never seen before a small bomb or large format films.

Note to self: Don't take the Deardorff on an airplane.

A friend sent me a source for similar nonsense, https://www.schneier.com/tag/war-on-the-unexpected/.
