Southern Calif. Storm Yesterday
« on: October 05, 2021, 05:53:34 pm »

Lightning and thunder came on strong in my Santa Monica neighborhood about an hour before sunset yesterday and it was so strong I decided to wait a bit before venturing outside. Once it slowed down I grabbed my camera and went down to the beach to a spectacle like I have never seen at my local beach before. Very rare and special show with continuous lightning on the horizon before, during and after sunset. Quite a show.

Very nice series of that unusual event. I saw that a little farther south, the storm forced them to suspend the oil cleanup for a while.

I love those chaotic skies. Well done for that set.
