Is there anybody here using EF lenses with Canon mirroless?
Do you have the Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF-EOS R with Variable ND Filter?
1. Any experience with it? Can you take out the filter and tape the
filter hole and use it as a regular adapter when you don't need the nd
filter?
2. They are selling third party versions? Any luck with those?

You have to put a clear in when you take out the ND. There is a compensation in the unit for light passing through at least piece of glass.

FWIW, the ND is garbage. Lots of ND pollution after a couple of stops as it is not FSND.

Supposedly the Breakthrough unit is very good with no color shift or ND pollution but those units are very hard to get right now.
