Mount Temple - North face
« on: October 01, 2021, 10:19:50 pm »

Dreamed of sitting on top of this one.

Much Higher than Fairview Mount,.. which we did clamber up ,..most gracefully???

Though, from Fairview Mountain, it was impressive indeed looking down on Chateau Lake Luise

In any case , do try the much "easier", depending on the weather of course,...march up Mount Temple from the Sentinel pass trail.

This was taken from the comforts of a nearby lodge.

That's a great area for good hikes (in my younger days.)

Eric,

Me too, but memories are sometimes more precious,... for me at least, especially when captured,.. and shared.

Thanks,

I like it a lot, the snow-capped summit looks a lot like Mont-Blanc in France.
The last time I was in the region, the fog was so dense that Mt Temple (and all the nearby peaks) was completely invisibleā€¦

francois,

Thanks,  and I'll definitely take a look at Mont-Blanc, France.
