Six Glaciers Outflow
« on: September 29, 2021, 07:56:36 pm »

Early morning walk,... west end of Lake Louise, Alberta.

Besides the Victoria glacier,.. 5 more glaciers join in?

Yes, even at 9:30 am Aug. 9, 2019 the scene was quite quiet. ... even before COVID 19 broke,....good timing  on our part???

Good colours.

Paulo,  Thank you kindly,... When it comes down to colours in photography,... My eye sees the scene,... my camera does as well,... and yet  my imagination of what stopped me , sees something else,... guess my
"eyes imagination "in post,... won out on this one.

Glad to share.

Eric,  Yes ,. on my first trip I bypassed the Tea House trail switch,  but you know when I return to that exact spot,... well the Tea House snack will be most welcome.

Thanks

The colors make you thing it's a tropical island… That's often the case with alpine lakes/rivers and glacier run-offs.
Well seen.

nokk, thank you kindly.

Mid-morning mountain colours , and a quiet scene, especially when viewing a glacier outflow,... are indeed what helps make the framing a little easier.

 Francois,

yes, I most likely felt that way when the image was captured,... but at the time I didn't know tropical island colours are so strong for me. This is now something for me, personally,  to take note of when assessing a scene.

thanks,
