Excellent.  It all came together in this one: the subject's posture, the composition, the moment when you snapped the shutter—and, although this is rare in my experience, the fact that the subject was staring directly into the camera: that adds another level of complexity to the image.

(I've lost count of the number of my attempts at street photography have been ruined because the subject became aware of the camera and decided to strike an "appropriate" pose.)

It's always a problem, Chris. I've lost many, many street shots for the same reason. In this case, the guy looked up just as I clicked the shutter, so we didn't have time for him to start posing.

He looks to me as if he is so involved with the I Ching that although his eyes are on Russ, his mind hasn't really registered that yet.
