(Not So Very Well) Hidden Figures
« on: August 15, 2021, 07:33:33 pm »

A photograph of one of several dioramas my wife has created on the bookshelves in our family room, assembled from yet another focus stack.

That has real charm.

My wife's artistic vision, not mine; I just snapped the picture.  (She is a more talented amateur sculptor than I am as an amateur photographer.)

Just to clarify: these are found items, not her own creations.  Their aggregation into the diorama is what reflects her eye for three-dimensional art.  But her sculptures are rather interesting, too.

Yes three dimensional, and your use light brings that out. You can see the textures, but also the play of light on the bust. The comic depiction hides the art.

That particular sculpture sometimes shows up where it's least expected.
