Hello!
I'm really enjoying my new Canon PRO-300 printer, but I feel there is something strange with blacks.
As you know this printer runs with two cartridges of black: MBK and PBK.
Considering that so far I printed ONLY on cotton papers, I feel strange that PBK level is lower than MBK level, so that matte black is less used than photo black.
Is this an expected behavior as in any case on cotton paper MBK is just put "on top" to the PBK, or is there something wrong in your opinion?
Consider that:
- Prints are coming out perfectly in terms of expected blacks, so I "feel" MBK is used.
- I'm using .am1x paper profiles so I'm sure that MBK should be "activated" for the specific cotton paper (Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth btw)
Thank you for any advice!
