Soft Proofing Compensation
« on: June 12, 2021, 11:43:08 am »

In an article written by Michael Reichmann in 2011, “Understanding Soft Proofing”, I see that he had suggested using any layer adjustment tools to create a compensation for the deteriorated look one gets when applying control/Y (cmnd/Y) to an image. The text in the article regarding this suggestion has been greyed out, or at least it has been attempted to be greyed out, but it is still readable. My question is: why was this greyed out, is it a bad idea?
I have been doing just that method of compensation as a result of my own ideas but just recently was wondering if this was indeed such a good idea, so decided to research it, and found this article. The text being greyed out really made me wonder.
Further suggestions?
Derek.

It appears to be just a glitch in the coding. That passage is coded as a blockquote.
