Re-processed an old photo.

Black Dragon Pool, a lake on the outskirts of the old city of Lijiang, now surrounded by the modern city. It was originally built as a water supply, holding water from seasonal snow melts from the surrounding mountains.

Sony A7r with Canon 70-200m f/2.8L IS II USM and circular polariser. 70mm, f/7.1, 1/30s, ISO 50.

I was using a polariser, and sunlight was coming from the left of the image, so probably not. I'd expect the polariser to darken and intensify colour in the sky a fair bit in that situation.

So it's a combination of sunset light with a polariser.
