The atmosphere makes both images look quite threatening, even though they aren't going anywhere (or only very slowly) at the moment.

I like the overall menacing ambiance, and the contrast between the earthly tones and the snow.

Yes, the place looks very chaotic, a work in progress by Mother Earth.

My last visit was more than 10 years ago… My memory fades ;-(
