Just the photo I need to lift my spirits while sitting inside watching a cold rain start my morning. Well done, Rajan.
I don't know how you do it, you got the pony and the whole landscape to pose for you in the golden light Excellent! I am confused, however, I thought you lived in Goa and travelled to Iceland. But it seems you live there.JR
...By the way, someone asked me if the horse in the image was real or a dummy 😀.
I could have asked that!- looks like 2d !Beautiful start of the summer night serial; and it is still spring! When I was in Iceland I was told that before the round way was closed they used these horses to jump in the water and swim to the other side. ( where now the big bridges are at the delta of the glacier)Some animals! As tough as the population!
Well done. Love the reddish brown colour of the lava.
Rajan,The power lines move slowly upwards, and our Icelandic horse is looking downwards towards some fence gates,.. but I wonder what lies upwards and to the left. Is it as high as I now imagine?
It is the other way around - I live in Iceland and travel to Goa. The Icelanders are rather sensitive about their horses being called ponies. The Icelandic Horse is a very special breed. By the way, someone asked me if the horse in the image was real or a dummy 😀.Eric and Francois - thanks. Eric, yes, the nights in June are long (and often magnificent).
