Z3100 Z3200 EPS colorsensor
« on: April 19, 2021, 08:15:06 am »

Just have a bought a second hand Z3200.
Already had a 14 year old Z3100 so i can compare some things.
I printed a 2744 colortarget on the Z3200 and measured it with the ESP-colorsensor in both machines.
It turned out the Z3100 is a bit off. It already had problems calibrating papers with a very wide gamut, like Canson Platine.
The ESP calibration in the Z3200 says max deltaE is 1.23 ; how does that sound to Z3200 owners? is that OK?- I think it is.
( the ESP calibration is the Z3100 never worked)
Has anybody an idea where to buy an ESP sensor for not too much money. I read some Chinese are ok - but were to buy? I guess not all chinese ESP's are the same quality.

On the image the colored image is the icc from the Z3100 and the transparant wider Gamut the Z3200  -measurements on the same target, made with the same software.
