Experience with Fringer Nikon F-Mount to Fujifilm X-Mount
« on: April 06, 2021, 05:46:45 pm »

Anybody here have any experience doing automated focus-stacking (Fuji calls it focus "bracketing") with the Fringer F-mount to X-mount adapter?  I've been making a number of macro images lately, and while I have a native Fuji macro lens (the old but excellent 60mm f/2.4), I would like to be able to use my (even older but also excellent) Nikon 105mm f/2.8 macro (Nikon calls it "micro") lens with the focus-stacking functionality built into the firmware of some recent Fuji bodies.  I'd be interested in hearing the experience of anyone who has tried this before I pop for a U.S. $350 gizmo that will otherwise be of limited utility to me.
