How my landscape shot was ruined by a giant Penis!!!
« on: March 21, 2021, 07:52:34 am »

I took this semi-abstract shot of the low lying mountains near to where I live, as we were out for a walk a few weeks ago during lockdown and then worked on it a couple of days later on the computer and thought, yes it's OK I suppose, nothing too earth shattering, but none the less a fairly enjoyable image to look at.

Then the following day I opened up the shot again to check if I still liked it and whether I should post it on Lula and that is when I saw it and how the giant shadow being cast from the mountain on the right, looked like a giant silhouette of a circumsized todger.

What a disappointment (both comparatively and creatively) and so I thought what the heck, I might as well still show you guys and give you a laugh, before I commit this monster of an image to its rightful place in pixel heaven and delete it.  ???  :-[  :'(

The image has potential given the exquisites tones and shading of the central mountain.

I made a copy of the background layer and moved the lower third up to eliminate the section containing the pizzle (with a mask).

You need to upload it onto here Rajan, because you seem to have cured the problem and removed the obvious phallic nature of that shadow - now why the heck didn't I think of doing that???

Thanks Rajan

I got two more innocent-looking variants by cropping in two ways. Here is one:

Dave, if you see that in the picture, your lockdown is lasting way too long  ;)

My imagination must be lacking/weak/absent as I never saw that "thing"!  ;D

Maybe you are right Slobodan, because when I was first working on the image and staring at it intently and closely on my computer screen, I didn't see anything wrong with it at all. But then when I sat back down to review it the following day, as I drank my morning cuppa, it just sort of smacked me right in the face - and there was absolutely no pun intended there by the way... Yuck!

Don't worry folks, I am not trying to come out of the cupboard or anything and I do not have a fixation with male genitalia and neither do I have anything against people who do like their toast buttered on the other side, different strokes for different folks and all that. It's just that once I did see it, I couldn't see anything else and thought that as it was so bloody enormous and near enough to being anatomically correct in so many ways, that it completely ruins the shot.

I didn't immediately see it but once I did it's hard difficult to unsee.  ;D

I don't see it.
May be it's because I'm not acquainted with foreign penises?

Just a little joke  ;)
