Changing seasons with new images
« on: February 22, 2021, 08:47:05 am »

With lots of snowdrops and the first crocuses popping through the snow winter may be starting to depart. This was 11 days ago and it is now warm enough to get out on my bike although I am still wrapped up in multiple layers as 9C 48F isn't really t shirt weather unless you are a Newcastle football supporter. Brave little crocuses! Nice shot.

Ours are still buried under a foot of snow, but that may melt this week.

Lovely and delicate, yet tough. Nice shot.
We had a recent thaw with temps above freezing for a few days but it was back to 0 F this morning so I think our flowers are still a ways off here.

Great composition and gorgeous colors.
It's a beauty and a perfect shot to illustrate early spring.

Thanks everybody for the comments. Taken while kneeling in the snow early in a very cold morning, I hope that my neighbours didn't see me. Ken

Beautiful. Have you tried cropping out the right hand side? Leaving just the buds.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Paulo I have never thought of cropping the right hand side out but have now produced a square crop. Ken
