Hasselblad H3D back problems
« on: February 20, 2021, 10:40:45 am »

I have a Hasselblad H3D39 and have been told by Hasselblad N.J. that my back needs a new linkboard and IR filter and was not economically feasible to repair. I ran across a H3DII 50mp back and bought it, but now I'm running into problems getting it to work. It displays an error code 9009 when I'm trying to use it untethered. It won't format any of the CF cards I've used before. Then I tether the the camera to my Mac, I can fire it sometimes using Phocus 3.5.5 software and the backs firmware is 332. Also the captures are in TIFF format, not RAW. Does anyone have some solutions?

The error code may not be meaningful to forum members unless they've encountered it before. It will be recognizable to Hasselblad as a specific type of error. I would suggest contacting their customer service or repair.

I would start by resetting it it to default.
The manual will give you the card requirements.
If there is a problem with the back then you should take it up with whoever you bought it off if it was sold as working.
Ebay gives a money back guarantee for example.
