ACR 13 Scrolling Problem
« on: February 16, 2021, 05:45:19 pm »

Using an Apple Magic Mouse I can no longer scroll an image around (zoomed in) while using the Adjustment Brush or Spot Removal. In previous versions this was possible and was part of my working process. Now attempting to scroll with one of these tools selected makes the brush larger or smaller. I've read the info on this site: https://jkost.com/blog/2020/07/a-complete-guide-to-shortcuts-for-adobe-camera-raw-2.html but no luck. Does anyone know if this behavior can be changed back to how it used to work before?

Thanks, Peter

65 views and still no responses. It's obvious there is no solution to this problem, yet it impedes my workflow every day. Just another example of bad software design where some great new feature is forced on users without one thought for existing workflows. What used to be simple, using an Apple Magic mouse to scroll around an image when using the adjustment brush is eliminated in favor of adjusting the size of the brush. Stupidity at it's best!

Apparently the feedback site has now been closed. This issue was reported as a bug over 6 months ago and still no fix. We pay a lot of money for this product and then changes are forced on us which affects daily workflow. Still waiting (a couple of years I'm thinking) for the Photo Downloader to be fixed. Also reported as a know bug. I'm referring to the behavior where it remembers the advances setting last used.
