Turn off borderless printing as default

Is there anyway to turn off borderless printing as the default on our Epson P9000 on a mac? (not using a RIP). Every single time I print (and I print a lot), I have to reset the page set-up to: roll, from borderless. This was not the case when I printed to our Epson 9890, 9880 and 9800. Somewhere in the new epson software this is the default. I never, ever print borderless and would love to remove it completely from the setting or make "roll" the pre-set.

Any words of wisdom.

I haven't figured it out, but what I end up doing is creating presets and using those each time — at least to get to what I like as defaults. So I'll do the "Save current settings as Preset" once I have it how I like.

You can not alter the default choices of the printer drivers on a mac like you can do in Windows? Somewhere in the system.

I haven't figured it out, but what I end up doing is creating presets and using those each time — at least to get to what I like as defaults. So I'll do the "Save current settings as Preset" once I have it how I like.

I used the preset, but if I change the paper size by a mm, poof, there goes the preset. I print custom sizes, with 8 different papers, so each time I save a preset, I would end up with hundreds of presets, and I only need the preset for each paper type, not for every single size combination.

Again, I am hoping for a override the default.
