Selling a LEICA Summicron-M 1:2/35 mm ASPH lens:
I am the first user (since 2007). The lens was serviced by LEICA every two years (focus adjusted, lens alignment, …)
The last service was on December 15th, 2020. LEICA gives a two-year-warranty on this.
The lens is in a perfect technical condition. It was always used with a filter on it, so the glasses are excellent. There are, of course, some signs of use on the numbers and on the aperture ring. Nothing special, just normal use.
The lens is 6-bit coded.
I am selling the lens because I changed to a middle format system. It was my favorite lens, always on my LEICAS (M8, then M240). Its small size and the maximum aperture are convincing. The rendering is just beautiful. The perfect lens for a one lens setup.
