Balls
« on: November 25, 2020, 01:12:11 pm »

Some of the balls set up for the after dark light show at the Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Wisley in England, taken yesterday with an iPhone12 pro and cropped.  Just thought they were interesting!  I have been after dark in previous years and they put on a magnificent show.  It is different each year.

Best wishes,

Jonathan

Fascinating.
I was expecting something maybe the size of golf balls.

That's giant golf balls for giant players…

Nice shot, by the way. Is there any night illumination?

Yes, an illuminated walk between 4pm and 8pm started this week, so these balls are all lit as are trees, bushes, sculptures, the tropical glasshouse etc. See www.rhs.org.uk then click on Glow 2020. Visits have to be booked.

Thanks Jonathan, the Glow 2020 is spectacular and magical. No such garden or exposition here ;-(
