Pfizer is aiming to produce 2.2 - 2.4 billion vaccine doses this year, exceeding their original plan for 2 billion doses. They would have done well with or without Trump and their share price on the stock market has been rallying this month.
What does that have to do with Operation Warp speed that sped the process and preordered millions of shots from Pfizer and others? That got us ahead of the curve. Trump used his construction experience to force on-time and under-budget completion of projects. Had Canada done the same thing Trump did, you wouldn't be behind the eight ball like you are now.  Of course, some of that may have to do with general slowness in the Canadian health system compared to the US.

It's clear that you have a desire to vilify Cuomo at every opportunity because he's a high profile Democratic governor. It explains why you have made the umpteenth post above accusing him of causing people to die and then post a link to an impeachment investigation into unrelated sexual harassment allegations.

What you don't acknowledge is that it's the Democratic State Assembly Speaker who has authorized the Judiciary Committee to begin the investigation into those sexual harassment allegations; or that it is the Democratic state Attorney General that has also started an investigation into those allegations as well as nursing home deaths and data reporting; or that the Democratic Mayor of New York and dozens of other NY Democratic elected officials have called for Cuomo to resign; or that other high profile NY Democrats have criticized him and backed the investigations. It's a stark difference compared to Republicans circling the wagons, ass-kissing, and screaming witch-hunt nonstop.

By the way, I don't recall you ever criticizing nursing homes that failed to take proper actions to protect residents, but for some reason focus only on Cuomo. Have you ever so much as glanced at the Attorney General's report?

The impeachment investigation includes both the sexual charges and the nursing homes' deaths.  You ought to read the article first before making charges about it.

Here's one Biden advisor who's telling the truth. It had to be almost squeezed out of him, but he did say it.

I hope that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

I'm willing to give credit where credit is due.  Biden's doing a good job moving the whole vaccination process along.  That's great.  I want him to succeed.  It helps me and the country.  Maybe we all could do better if you took a similar approach.

I did read it and it does NOT say "The impeachment investigation includes both the sexual charges and the nursing homes' deaths." There is only one single mention in the article of nursing homes and it's only in regard to a letter calling for Cuomo to resign from state legislators.

You ought to read the article first before making charges about it.

Of course it did.  How many times does it have to state the obvious? The article stated the following below.  Misconduct includes both the sexual charges and the nursing home issue.  The state legislators who sit on the judiciary committee are the ones who wrote the letter which included charges about sex and nursing homes and wanting the governor out.  Of course, both will be included in the impeachment hearings.  How can you draw any other conclusion? Of course, we can revisit this when the charges are filed to see if you or I were correct.

Quote: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo faced growing pressure to resign on Thursday, as the state's assembly speaker authorized an impeachment investigation into the allegations of misconduct he's facing. New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie said he authorized the Assembly Judiciary Committee to begin the investigation, which he said will have the power to interview witnesses and subpoena documents.

The investigation comes as more than 55 lawmakers said in a letter Thursday that they want the governor out.

"The budget, the fight against COVID-19, and restarting the economy all depend on clear and trustworthy leadership," the letter said. "In light of the governor's admission of inappropriate behavior and the findings of altered data on nursing home COVID-19 deaths he has lost the confidence of the public and the state legislature, rendering him ineffective in this time of most urgent need."

Anybody here, other than Alan, care one way or the other what Cuomo did or didn't do? Obviously, Alan desperately needs him so whenever we point out the nonfeasance and malfeasance of Trump, he can whatabout Cuomo in an effort to change the subject.

Of course you don't want to look at how a Democrat Governor caused the deaths of people from Covid, lied about it, and covered it up.  You want to continue to blame Trump. What Cuomo did goes against your phony storyline.

Not at all.
As seen just moments ago, Alan has to continue to post false narratives, without a lick of proof about Cuomo/Covid-19 deaths. All while there's ample proof of Trump's utter lack of leadership in handling at the top of the chain, Covid-19.

Trump was playing golf and he didn't have clue what was happening with the vaccine development. Good thing he didn't use use his construction experience. As you said several times himself, no self respecting contractor would work with him since he always stiffed some.

As to Canada being behind USA in vaccination, it was not due to Canadians lacking construction expertise. Canada doesn't have any vaccine manufacturing facilities, so it was dependent on the vaccine manufactured in other countries. Once we have enough vaccines here, Canadian nurses will be jabbing patients as quickly as the American ones.

You can't bear to talk about the nonfeasance and malfeasance of Trump that caused the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans, and the only way out of it for you is to change the subject to Cuomo.

Not only Biden is moving the whole vaccination process along, but he is fixing also the economy. Good time to put some of those stimulus checks into Amazon or Tesla shares.

The U.S. economy is projected to expand at a rapid pace this year, more than doubling December estimates from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), thanks largely to a so-far successful vaccine rollout and major stimulus injection by the federal government.

The OECD expects the gross domestic product in the U.S. to grow 6.5% year over year, according to its March economic outlook report. That's up from 3.2% in annual growth it forecast in December.

Another false narrative, no.
Is anyone defending Alan? No, and that's not an attack either.
Next he'll pull out his "I was called a lair" card, or "I'm being attacked" nonsense.
Lack of respect? Certainly by his own doing.
Meanwhile, this will likely make his head explode:

Arguing he was playing golf is just silly.  Obama played golf.  Most presidents play golf.  Trump pushed the CDC and HHC and other organizations to process Warp Speed.  He's the boss and gets the credit and blame for everything.  You blame him for governors' mistakes after all. So why doesn't he get the credit for what his departments do?

Canada could have pre-ordered the vaccines as America did instead of waiting.  You probably thought you had two years because you didn't believe Trump's claims it would be out by the end of 2020.  In any case, a simple call followed with a down payment to the manufacturers to get your order in would have worked. Trump was familiar with that process due to his business.  In construction, I used to do the same thing, even paying a premium to get my equipment order moved up to the front of the line when I had commitments to make.  Usually 10% extra on the regular price was enough of an inducement to get the manufacturer to move the shipping date up.  Trump also knows about liquidated damages.  If the contractor doesn't complete the job by a pre-agreed upon date, the contractor forfeits hundreds or thousands of dollars a day for each day he's late.  Money talks, Bullsh!t walks.
