Before you go too far down the
ex post facto road, let me suggest you read the Former Presidents Act, 3 U.S.C. §102, and see if you can discern the real reason Trump would not lose his pension in the unlikely event he is convicted by the Senate. Or, if that is too much trouble, just google it.
