His name is Saul Alinsky. If you want to understand how the Radical Left thinks and operates, you should read his book Rules for Radicals, like I did.
If you want to understand how photographers think and operate, post less, read more and consider:
"Listen to understand instead of listening to respond." - Barack Obama
Too bad you didn't read this book!

His name is Saul Alinsky. If you want to understand how the Radical Left thinks and operates, you should read his book Rules for Radicals, like I did.

    Alinksy's "Rules:"

"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."

"Never go outside the expertise of your people."

"Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy."

"Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."

"A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

"A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."

    "Keep the pressure on."

"The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. "

"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."

"If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative."

"The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. "

I'm truly curious - which of these rules do you think the "radical left" has a monopoly on?   ;D

So i'm being Alinskied.  So it's ok for one photographer to attack another and to insult his character all to win a political argument. How pathetic.

Considering who posted this 'radical left' nonsense, the first rule he doesn't get is: "Never go outside the expertise of your people.."
In this case, any people and always photographers.  ;D
    More FDR.

As is so often the case, you're being corrected. But it is pointless to do so, empty head syndrome.

You got a severe case of FDR! (DR standing for Derangement Syndrome)
I'm sorry if I offended you with my experience, expertise and common sense. And a factual paper trail showing your misunderstandings and zero photographic experience.

"The Radical Left".  Really?  WTF's radical about compassion, empathy, reduction of inequality, eliminating corruption, stopping mass shootings, promoting education, re-building decaying infrastructure and, (like the rest of the civilized west) universal healthcare?

We've had more than enough from the conservative side of the aisle: political obstructionism, anti-democratic riots, political corruption, an endless torrent of obvious and indefensible lies, nepotism, bible-waving, and a whole bunch of really shitty flags.

Might I point out that "Syndrome" starts with "S," not "R."

Do you mean "...a severe case of FDS?" or simply "... of DS?"

Frans is as clueless about FDR as Photography which is why I provided him a web link about FDR earlier.
Can someone else explain to Frans how to use a web link?  ;D

Yes. I am.  And the opinions still apply.  The view from here is unobstructed and the characteristics listed still apply, too.
