Another trail in Odemira, SW Portugal
« on: November 03, 2020, 04:32:19 am »

I have been repeating some of the Rota Vicentina trails of Odemira, this one I did it first 2 years ago. From the village of Troviscais to the river Mira is a wonderful walk up and down the hills with nothing but Nature and quitness as company. Portugal will enter partial/local restrictions soon, but it seems that travelling will not be restricted, so I will keep visiting more trails.

Beautiful scenes, and I too enjoy your blog photos accompanying this post, esp. "Door in Troviscais"

What a fascinating area for hiking. Beautiful shots.

Do stay healthy and show us more of these trails.

Thanks gentlemen.

Portugal is about to enter a so-called "soft" lockdown, to balance the rise in infected people with the impact on economy. Similar to the rest of Europe, no country can at this junction close down fully again. Hopefully, I will still be able to travel and keep doing more hikes in the region. It is perfectly safe, since Odemira is the municipality with the higher ratio of area/population. It is the largest muncipality in area, and has the lowest population.
