Gunnison Valley
« on: October 28, 2020, 11:15:09 am »

I went to this spot figuring the backdrop would be whiter but I'm a day late and this is the south side of those mountains so it seems to have melted back a bit. I imagine the other side is quite a bit whiter. Still not a bad scene. And nice and quiet out there too. It's been a busy summer and it's nice to get the place back to ourselves!
FYI this is the same area as my last sunset panorama post but obviously a different spot.

This is three landscape oriented shots stitched in Lightroom.

I like the low light that barely brushes the top of the rock formations. It's a beautiful photo.
Well seen!

Rugged rocks and smooth mountains under soft light, well done.

Thanks! This is one of my favorite nearby vistas and I like to visit it every so often if conditions are coming together.
I'm glad you folks like it too.
