Topaz Gigapixel AI won't load as Photoshop plug in

After the recent Photoshop update (2021) I can't get Gigapixel AI to load as a Photoshop plugin. The Topaz help site is useless, and I have had a support question in for days with no answer. Any suggestions?

Works OK here (Win 10).  File -> Automate -> Topax Gigapixel AI.  Won't work on Smart Object, requires a rasterized layer.

I forgot to mention I am on a Mac. The stand alone loaded on to my computer, but the plug in (I know where to find it in Photoshop) is missing.

Works for me. iMac Pro (latest macOS), Photoshop CC 2021, Topaz Gigapixel 5.2.1.

I finally heard from Topaz. They said it is a "common" problem. It is necessary to uninstall, reboot your computer, download the software, install again, reboot again. I had to do it four times before it finally worked. It's frustrating, that for such an expensive plug in they can't fix a "common" problem.
