Thierry this image was made in the Svaneti Region of Northwest Georgia. Around the Caucasus mountains.
The whole region has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of the most beautiful regions in the world. Be careful you don’t take a wrong turn and end up in Russian Federation territory without a visa! There is a heavy military presence here.

The buildings you see are Svaneti towers.Built as defensive towers to protect the region maybe 800 years ago.
